Newhaven 10th August 2019
Myself and a few (daft) friends from Dorking Camera Club suggested going to Newhaven on Saturday morning 10th August 2019, when 65mph winds were expected. We arrived at 6.30am, and hour before sunrise. The wind was high but it was not storm conditions – no rain, in fact the day was eventually dry and bright (apart from the sea spray). This was my first visit to the iconic lighthouse on West Beach and was hoping to emulate our Chairman, Bob Ede who has some excellent images of this location. Sadly my efforts fell short. However, not wanting to waste 200+ images I decided to be ‘creative’, and now offer some of my Lightroom endeavours.
